Summer with Restrap

Promotional campaign aimed at the cycling community

CAMPAIGN OBJECTIVES

The aim of the campaign was to increase brand recognition among active cyclists and strengthen Restrap's image as a manufacturer of functional equipment for cycling trips – from everyday commutes to bikepacking adventures. The activities were based on an engaging competition formula, combined with the brand's presence in the cycle route planning system.

The “Summer with Restrap” contest

The competition was the centerpiece of the promotional campaign. Participants were tasked with planning a route where Restrap products would perform best, which naturally drew attention to the practical application of the equipment in the field.

presence in a real-life context of product use and building associations with adventure, independence, and functionality.

Image effects:
building an authentic relationship with cyclists, presenting products in the context of real user needs.

ADVERTISEMENT DISPLAY ON THE WEBSITE AND IN THE TRASEO APPLICATION

The campaign was conducted in an environment that brought together people actively planning cycling routes, which ensured that it reached audiences interested in cycling tourism and expedition equipment.

The brand did not interrupt the audience's daily activities — it accompanied them when they were making decisions about their next trips.

Strengthening Restrap's image as a practical, specialist choice for people traveling on two wheels.

ROUTE BRANDING

To maximize the campaign's reach, 1,000 routes with the best ratings were marked with a Restrap banner in the search results listing.

Benefits:

  • reaching users at the activity planning stage,
  • associating the Restrap brand as specialized, reliable, and close to the needs of users,
  • brand presence in the user's natural environment.

SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS

Communication on Facebook and Instagram supported the competition campaign, building reach and engaging the Traseo community.

Result:

increased interaction, additional traffic to the competition, and strengthening of the brand image as ideal for cyclists.

SUMMARY

The “Summer with Restrap” campaign successfully combined the world of the Restrap brand with the passion of the cycling community. The competition format activated users, and embedding the activities in the route planner made communication natural and useful. 

As a result, Restrap strengthened its image as a brand created by and for people who treat cycling as a way to discover the world.
